Last month, Spin held a course at the University of São Paulo (USP) on Automation of Power Distribution, using as a tool the SCADA software Action₀NET developed by the company.
Action₀NET is a product that has gained prominence because of its modern features and functionality aimed at the electricity market. Spin works more than 23 years in the areas of generation, transmission and distribution of energy.
Throughout the course, which lasted four days, were shared project configuration tools, information on protocols used by Spin, dynamic screens building, network architectures, and a small workshop on SCADA connection to relay.
Afonso Machado, responsible for the training, was surprised with the engagement of those present:
“The results were extremely positive. Teachers, undergraduate students, masters and doctoral participated actively and with great interest.”
The course also reflects the tradition of Spin to remain close to the Academy. Valuing participation in R&D projects is in the DNA of the company, whose innovation inspires customers and suppliers. This practice still be reflected in more partnerships later this year.
