At the end of August and early September, Spin participated in the Brazil Windpower 2016, an event held for companies in the wind power generation market to exchange experiences and do business.
This segment is experiencing a period of growth and excellent prospects, with Brazilian wind farms increasing the general installed capacity by 23%, with 56 new wind complexes, according to the Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization (CCEE). By 2019, Brazil is expected to reach 18.8 GW of wind capacity. Currently, 45 million people are supplied from wind power in Brazil, equivalent to 6% of the countries population. And this percentage can reach 12% with the ‘Ten Year Plan for Energy Expansion 2024’, developed by the Brazilian government.
Spin is engaged in helping the market to hit its goals and presented the SCADA software Action₀NET, along with features to create templates that streamline and reduce the costs of the integration process, and management dashboards with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for pre and post-operation. Spin has partners in the Northeast – leading region for growth in wind power plants in the country – that were also present and it was possible to coordinate regional sale actions.
The prospects are very nice and good news should come around.
